ERISA, Who?

["Erisa is on maternity leave, she won't be back until next year"]???

ERISA stands for Employee Retirement Income Security Act,

A Federal Law, Governs Your Health Insurance

If Obtained from Your Job in Private Sectors

According to an Unanimous US Supreme Court,

ERISA Protect You If Your Health Insurance Claims

Were Turned Down or Delayed by Your HMO or Health Plans, and ERISA Supersedes and Invalidates States Laws

If You Wanted Payments of Your Insurance Claims

Or See Your Doctors

ERISA sets standards for administering your health plans, HMO, PPO and EPO's.......

ERISA Calls your Insurance Policy, Your Coverage and Rights,

as SPD, Summary Plan Description

(Not STD, that you don't want to have)

ERISA also sets rules to protect you, ERISA Claim Regulation,

You have right to know everything

why you were not getting paid or can't see your doctors...

But you must know ERISA and follow ERISA rules to get paid or covered for your medical care

Get and READ your SPD and Appeal Claim Delays and Denials

ERISA, Who?

Your worst enemy if you know nothing about Erisa

or

Your Best Friend if you know ERISA and love it

How Old is ERISA? Can I....
